Investigating - We're currently seeing some payment declines due to an issue with our vendor that processes Interac cards.
customers paying with a digital wallet (Google Pay or Apple Pay) should retry with a different payment method.

If possible, we recommend customers insert or tap their physical card and try to process the transaction again. We also recommend using an alternate payment method if attempting to pay with Google Pay or Apple Pay.

Monitoring - Due to external maintenance today, interruptions to Interac debit payments are expected until 6 AM. Sellers may have experienced payment declines between 02:00 AM ET to 03.30 AM.

We see the majority of transactions being processed successfully since 3:30 AM.

We continue monitoring the situation and will provide an update as it becomes available.

Resolved - We've resolved the issue we saw earlier where the transactions were not appearing for some sellers. All services returned to full functionality and transactions are now appearing in our Point of Sale apps, Square Dashboard and KDS app for restaurants. Identified - We've identified the issue we're seeing with transactions not appearing for some sellers in our Point of Sale apps, Square Dashboard and KDS app for restaurants. We're currently running a process to restore this payment data for impacted Square accounts.
