Identified - Our team is continuing to investigate disruptions with payment acceptance on Square Invoices, AfterPay, Virtual Terminal, Appointments, E-Commerce API, or Square Online when using Apple Pay, Google Pay or ACH (US-only) as the payment type.

Resolved - We can confirm that the disruption impacting Square Balances has now been resolved.

Sellers that use products such as Square Card, Loans, Checking and Savings should be aware that repayment of capital may not have been evaluated for certain transactions, resulting in some merchants receiving more funds today and facing debits tomorrow.

As a result, you might observe a negative balance displayed, and there could be discrepancies in the reported amount available for transfer.
Following the standard balance transfer on Thursday, the 16th, your balance will return to its usual state.

We appreciate your patience as our engineering team worked to resolve this disruption.
We understand how important it is to have your business tools operating as intended and our team is actively working on ways to prevent future disruptions like this one.
